The South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency installs dolken wood and sandbags in the Salibetan Kalibata water channel's sheet piles, Jalan Swadaya, RT 07/07, Manggarai Urban Village, Tebet. It was previously collapsed on December 8 due to water erosion.

"Its installation is only temporary by involving 12 personnel. This is done as a first countermeasure where we strengthen sheet pile's structure," expressed South Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Maintenance Division Head, Junjung, Monday (1/13).

He explained the sheet pile has four meters height and its damage has 14 meters length.

"We're not yet directed to do a total renovation, considering the peak of the rainy season will still take place in February," he closed.
